Chelsea has confirmed another signing even after the close of the winter transfer window.
Chelsea spent over £600 million in the past two transfer windows.
The Blues on Friday announced the signing of forward Jimmy-Jay Morgan from Southampton.
The 17-year-old arrives for a fee understood to be worth £6 million including add-ons.
Head of the Blues’ youth development and recruitment Jim Fraser said: “In signing Jimmy-Jay we have added a player with good potential to our academy squads.
“His ability marks him out as an exciting striker and we are delighted he has chosen Chelsea for this next, important stage of his development.”
