Imo election: APC Deputy Chair, Eneukwu congratulates Uzodinma


 

The Deputy National Chairman, South, of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Emma Eneukwu has congratulated Governor Hope Uzodinma following his victory in the off-season gubernatorial election held in Imo State on Saturday.

Saga Gist reports that Uzodinma was declared the winner of the election by the Independent National Election Commission, INEC, with a wide margin.

In a congratulatory message, Eneukwu expressed admiration for Governor Uzodinma’s steadfast commitment, acknowledging the confidence placed in his leadership by the discerning electorate.

The message highlighted the pivotal role played by influential leaders within the APC, particularly those with significant influence nationwide and notably in Southern Nigeria, in ensuring the unequivocal success of the crucial election.

The Deputy National Chairman South urged those who did not emerge victorious to gracefully align with Governor Hope Uzodimma’s transformative agenda.

According to him, “The call was for collective efforts towards a harmonious symphony, resonating across the political spectrum to advance Imo State and contribute to the prosperity of the nation.”

He posited that it would move Imo State forward as Governor Hope Uzodinma would engender disruptive innovation and transformation in the State.

Quoting Proverbs 16:3, Eneukwu invoked divine guidance for Governor Uzodimma’s stewardship, wishing for an era marked by prosperity, unity, and progress for the state
