Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, joined thousands of Muslim faithful in celebrating the annual Maulud An-Nabiyin in Zaria.
The Emir initiated the procession to mark the occasion on horseback, accompanied by members of the Emirate Council, District Heads, and Islamic clerics.
He prayed for the peace, stability, and unity of the country.
Maulud, also known as Maulud al-Nabi, is an event in the Islamic calendar that commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
It is observed on the 12th day of the month of Rabi’ al-awwal, which falls on a different date each year on the Gregorian calendar.
