Yobe SIEC Chairman, Mamman Mohammed passes on

 

The Chairman, Yobe State Independent Electoral Commission, (SIEC), Dr. Mamman Mohammed has reportedly died.

The Chairman was said to have died yesterday at the Yobe State University Teaching Hospital, Damaturu after a brief illness

According to reports, the funeral prayer for the deceased SIEC Chairman is scheduled to hold today, Tuesday, October 14th, 2025, at the Emir of Fika’s Palace in Potiskum town.

Fika Emirate Council confirmed the death of Dr. Mamman Mohammed, (Shamaki Fika) in a post via its official Facebook page.

“Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi Raji unn.

“The death has occurred of Dr. Mamman Mohammed, (Shamakin Fika), Chairman Yobe State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC).

“He died at Yobe State Teaching Hospital after an illness.

“May Almighty Allah grant him Aljannah, Amin”, it posted
